Derek Leonidoff - SAG/AFTRA
- A native of Virginia Beach,
Virginia, Derek has been acting
since the age of 10, in a variety
of film, television and theatre
roles. Recent credits include,
the role of the father, "Bob
Belmont" on The Knock Knock
show! For CBN films and the
Family Channel, "the Storyteller"
for the historical drama The
Wreck of the Dictator at the
Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and
a starring role of "Ron
Fervent" in the upcoming
independent film Moving. Other
credits include the role of
"the Donut Kid" in
the Walt Disney production First
Kid with Sinbad, "Alan"
in the national commercial for
Virginia Beach Tourism, and
"Albert Peterson"
in Bye Bye Birdie for Dominion
Theatre in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Derek earned his B.A. in Theatre
from James Madison University
in Harrisonburg, VA. While studying
at JMU, he joined and toured
with the improvisational comedy
troupe, Cillia! After returning
to Virginia Beach, Derek put
that improv training to work,
and founded SLAPHAPPY! Improvisational
Comedy Troupe. Based in Virginia
Beach, SLAPHAPPY! is quickly
becoming one of the regions
premier comedy performance troupes.

Derek just got married to an
incredible girl in September,
and he and his wife reside in
Chesapeake, Virginia. His hobbies
include tennis, skiing, and
studying stupid car trivia.
