A
native of Bel Air, Maryland,
Kera O'Bryon has been in entertainment
since the age of 3. An accomplished
singer and actress, Kera has
performed in 30 stage productions,
primarily focusing on musical
theatre and opera.
She became
a recording artist at the
age of 8, releasing a record
with her family, and then one
with her brother when she was
13. Some of her most exciting
performances included opening
for Smoky Robinson, and Marie
Osmond, as well as winning
a statewide vocal competition
to sing the national anthem
for the Baltimore Orioles Opening
Day game in Maryland in 1990.
She sang for the NCAA Eastern
Final Division Basketball Tournament
at UMBC that same year, as
well as the North vs. South
Hawaiian Classic Lacrosse
Tournament at Johns Hopkins
University. She opened the
festivities for the national
FTD in Chicago, Sacramento,
and Reno and for the NFDA (National
Funeral Directors Association)
in Chicago, Palm Springs, Baltimore,
and Las Vegas.
Kera has recorded voice-overs
and jingles nationwide for such
clients as Kroger, Eckerd, Fresh
Pride, Heilig-Meyers, Fidelis
Care, Ortega, The Melting Pot,
Circuit City, Sports Authority,
and McDonald's, to name a few.
She stays busy doing back-up
vocals and demos for national
artists, and many other regional
and local clients. Kera's television
credits include the “FBI
Files”, “The Prosecutor’s”, “The
New Detectives”, “Untold
Stories of the Navy Seals”, “The
Knock Knock Show”, along
with numerous film credits. She
recently hosted a pilot television
program in Los Angeles called "Beach
Music 2002", which featured
beach music artists such as The
Embers and The Main Ingredient,
etc. Last fall, Kera performed
Rod McBrien’s “Till
the White Dove Flies Alone” for
the Annual Veteran’s Day
Ceremony at The Wall in Washington
DC. She recently completed a
country music project in Nashville. Kera
currently lives in Newport News,
Virginia, with her husband, Christian,
where she enjoys singing, reading,
and traveling in her spare time. |
