On June 9th, Destination Tomorrow won a Golden Reel Award in the category "Organizational News".

How It Works

Currently it costs about $10,000 per pound to lift payload into orbit by way of rockets or the space shuttle. With this type of expense, NASA researchers are looking for alternate means to reach orbit. One possible solution currently on the table would use air breathing Scram Jet technology to lower costs.
