We've all heard that air travel is the safest form of transportation, but have you ever wondered how a plane actually flies? How does 320,000 pounds of metal lift into the air with such ease? Destination Tomorrow spoke with Flight research pilot Rob Rivers of NASA Langley's Research Center about the 4 principles of flight. Rob has been a research pilot with NASA for 12 years, and has flown some of the most exciting aircraft in the world.
