On June 9th, Destination Tomorrow won a Golden Reel Award in the category "Organizational News".

Since 1978, The Golden Reel celebrates excellence in media communications. Golden Reel honors have been highly coveted and recognized internationally for their prestige. The name stands for creativity and advancement in technical applications.

NASA’s Tomorrow™ is a series of 30-minute educational programs that focus on NASA research, including new technologies, advanced aerodynamics, past achievements and medical breakthroughs. Each exciting program gives the audience an inside look at NASA and demonstrates how research and technology relates to our everyday lives. If it’s cutting edge technology, medical breakthroughs or advanced aeronautical research - NASA’s Destination Tomorrow™ will bring it to you first.

These program air on many PBS, cable, and ITV stations throughout the U.S. The program is also broadcast internationally through the Voice of America.

Programs are developed in cooperation with National Institute of Aerospace (NIA). Broadcast and off air rights are unlimited and are granted in perpetuity.
